Brief History
Southern Growers is a division of CCC Associates Co. Inc. CCC Associates began as a retail florist in 1950 by James L. Thompson, Sr. In 1958, the company built its first greenhouse, since then we have expanded to around 10 acres of greenhouses and ninety acres of nursery fields in Montgomery, AL. We grow many different varieties of shrubs, trees, groundcovers, annuals, and perennials.
Southern Growers does not sell to the big box stores and we are wholesale only. We do not sell to the general public. Our customers are always welcome to come and visit our 280 acre complex in Montgomery, AL.
