In February of 2008, Southern Growers started growing gourmet tomatoes in greenhouses. Each tomato is ripened on the vine and hand picked paying special attention to detail. The varieties were selected for their quality and taste. After a successful trial run, we have decided to continue production, and expand our season, harvesting tomatoes as early as November and continue until outdoor tomatoes become available sometime in May.

We supplied many local restaurants and vendors. By the end of the first season, our markets had spread outside the Montgomery area.
