Prunus serrulata 'Kwanzan'

This variety has double pink flowers and a vase-shaped form. As it matures it becomes wider than it is tall. This is a fruitless cultivar. Easily transplanted, it prefers full sun, well drained soil with plenty of moisture. It has a fairly short life span of about 30 years.
