Betula nigra 'Dura-Heat' ™

The green leaves are leathery and smaller than other varieties in this species and turn to yellow in the fall.  Best known for its attractive peeling bark and tolerance of wet conditions. This tall, upright variety is leaf-spot resistant. Use as a street tree, specimen, or windbreak.
