Hedera canariensis

Algerian Ivy is a great choice for a groundcover with its dark green leaves. It has a fast growth rate and must have regular pruning if used along a landscape bed. The Algerian Ivy leaf is 2"to 4" and has a good tolerance of clay, sand, and acidic soil.
